Alex Schoep became Chairman of Pleon in 2006 after successfully leading the merger of two of Europe’s leading agencies in 2004: Brodeur Worldwide and ECC Kohtes Klewes.  As President of the new Pleon, he was responsible for establishing multi-national client service programs and growing the operations of Pleon’s 31 offices throughout Europe. As Chairman, he remains involved in Pleon’s international business development and consults with clients on corporate communications, crisis and positioning issues. He is also personal coach to several European political and business leaders.

Schoep is an entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in marketing and communications.  He was one of the co-founders of leading Netherlands agency, Schoep & Van der Toorn Communication Consultants in Amsterdam and became President of Brodeur Worldwide EMEA when Brodeur/Omnicom acquired the Agency in 1998.

Alex studied Political and Social Science at the Amsterdam University and was a spokesperson for one of the leading Dutch political parties.  He has worked with many clients in the corporate communications arena and is an expert in change and issues management.
