Dr. Saskia Wallner is member of the European Board of Management and Director European Partner Relations where she manages affiliate relationships in 14 countries across Europe, Middle East and Africa and oversees quality and consistency of Pleon's multi-national accounts.

Wallner is an expert in corporate communications, change, and crisis communications in a wide range of industries from retail to financial services. She also serves as Managing Partner of Pleon’s Austrian office Pleon Publico where she is responsible for strategic communications consulting and support of high profile companies.

Wallner joined the Austrian office in 1998 as an account executive and quickly excelled to become a senior consultant in 2000 and an equity partner in 2002. Prior to her affiliation with Pleon, Wallner worked for the Austrian Postal Banks Group in marketing and sales, later also focusing on institutional sales investment funds. 

Born in 1968, Saskia Wallner studied Law at the University of Vienna and the Université Paris II. After her graduation in 1991 she worked as referee at the Austrian Constitutional Court and did her Diploma of High Advanced International Studies at the Bologna Center of the Johns Hopkins University. Her subsequent internship at the General Secretariat of the European Union in Brussels was followed by a PhD in European Law at the University of Vienna and the Istituto Europeo in Fiesole, Italy.

In addition to her current position with Pleon, Wallner is also a lecturer on PR and communications at MARS, Austria´s Nr. 1 University for Applied Sciences in Marketing and Sales.
