As CEO of Pleon UK, Jennifer Helfer Paavola is responsible for each of the practices in the UK office with a personal focus on brand strategy, communications and strategic consulting.  She has organized the agency to use the full range of marketing communications to help solve complex business objectives by driving content across multiple channels.  To reflect the nature of work in the London office, she has been building a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary team with expertise in change management, crisis communications, brand strategy, design, and issues management across a variety of industries from energy and financial services to consumer products and technology. .  

A US national and industry award-winner, Helfer has experience leading both in-house marketing/communications functions for large global companies as well as running global agencies and consulting firms. Previous experience includes working with a corporate finance group, building partnerships to support the growth and capitalization of early-stage technology companies and launching US companies in Europe.

Before coming to the UK, she served as the Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications for iGATE, a $500M, NASDAQ-traded holding company.  At iGATE, Helfer oversaw the marketing, public relations and branding teams for the holding company, venture capital arm and 12 subsidiary companies located in India and Europe. Jennifer has US marketing and communications degrees from Seton Hill University.
