Markus Schindler is Managing Partner and CEO of Pleon Publico. Schindler joined Pleon Publico in 1994 and has been Managing Director since 1997. While at Pleon Publico, he has worked on the Europe-Campaign and Euro-Initiative of the Austrian Federal Government. Schindler has strengths and consulting competences in the areas of financial PR / investor relations, lobbying and public affairs, the design of comprehensive communication strategies, team leader functions, textual concepts and event planning and management.

Schindler is a visiting professor for Lobbying and PR at the universities in Klagenfurt and Vienna. He has also conducted several lectures and seminars at the Institute for International Research and the Business Circle. Schindler is a sworn-in expert witness for public relations issues at the Commercial Court of Vienna.

Markus Schindler earned his Master’s degree (Mag. Phil) at the University of Vienna studying Mass Communications and Communication Science as well as Law, Political Sciences and History. He has been trained in presentation techniques, including speech and body language training. During his studies, Schindler worked as a freelance journalist for Rennbahnexpress and Salzburger Nachrichten and was the Vice Chairman of the Austrian Students’ Association (ÖH).
