Pleon takes home gold for PR Campaign of the Year

Named "Germany’s Agency of the Year" at 2006 SABRE Awards

Düsseldorf, 26 May 2006. Pleon took home the Gold in “PR Campaign of the Year in Germany, Austria and Switzerland” and was named “Germany’s Agency of the Year” at the 2006 SABRE Awards ceremony sponsored by the Holmes Report.

After being short-listed in ten categories for work in Germany, France, The Netherlands and Italy; Europe’s leading communications consultancy came out on top in the “PR Campaign of the Year in Germany, Austria and Switzerland” category for its innovation, integrity and effectiveness in the launch of Musicload. Created by international telecommunications giant, T-Online, Musicload is the market leader in legal downloads.

Pleon also took home the title of "Germany’s Agency of the Year", making the SABRE Awards the second industry body to award Pleon this distinction in 2006. Pleon was named PR Agency of the Year by Germany’s prestigious PR Report earlier this month.

The SABRE Awards is sponsored by the internationally recognised Holmes Report. This year’s awards dinner, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Berlin, is the second annual event for the European version of the award.
