July 4, 2008 – Pleon has won the International Stevie Award for “Best Public Relations Agency” in The 2008 International Business Awards. This global award follows closely on the heels of Pleon’s win as “European Consultancy of the Year”, honoured by the Holmes Report.
The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards programme honoring great performances in business. Recipients of International Stevie Award trophies were selected from more than 1,700 entries received from organisations and individuals in more than 30 countries.
Pleon was honoured as best public relations agency because of its ambitious growth from its start up four years ago to become the largest Agency in Europe with more than 400 clients, over 1,000 employees, and multiple peer- recognition awards including “European Consultancy of the Year”. Pleon was chosen for its ability to provide a truly European perspective to client issues and maintain the geographic footprint to seamlessly implement programs.
CEO Timo Sieg, comments on Pleon’s accomplishments in 2008 and beyond: “This additional award is a proof to the success Pleon has achieved in becoming the only international communications consultancy with European roots. Our diverse and talented employees collaboratively service clients across many countries, while retaining a regional perspective and expertise. This sets Pleon apart from its competitors.”
